Have a Great Time!
Whether you are a beginner or have been doing ceramics for a lifetime, this is the place to be. B&D Ceramics has been owned and operated by Bob and Diana Clark since 1985. We are located just west of Meansville, Georgia only 1/2 mile from Highway 19. B & D is a traditional "sit down" shop where we work with customers one on one. You can make your own clocks, music boxes, lamps, piggy banks, an almost limitless choice of special gifts; each one created to match your needs, personality and decore. We try to keep everything in stock that you might want to finish a project.
Some customers want to pick out a special gift or order a custom-made piece. Some folks want to pick up their paints and their pieces and work on them at home. Others simply want to enjoy an afternoon or an evening session sitting down in a comfortable atmosphere and painting with friends. We are open three afternoons and two evenings every week. For only $10 per month you can be here every session if you chose to. If your schedule is crazy and you don't want a monthly commitment, you can drop in any time for any single session for only $3.
We now take Masercard, Visa and American Express.
Diana gives free instruction in all techniques to customers during regular shop hours. Special classes are also available upon request.
Hours: Monday 1 to 4 p.m.
Tuesday 1 to 4 p.m.
Thursday 1 to 4 p.m.
Monday and Thursday evenings 6 to 10 p.m.

What do you think of these beautiful vases? They were completely hand painted without a stencil. Each one is unique as you would expect, but what is absolutely unexpected is how easy it is to complete. With a little instruction and a few easy brushstrokes, anyone can create a vase (or lamp) of their own. This technique works with any piece as long as it is round.
For $25 I will teach you how to complete a vase just like the ones shown here. For those of you who are thinking (like I did) "NO WAY I could ever do that!", I offer this MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. I will supply the piece, the instruction, the firing and all the paint. The only other thing you will need is a couple of small brushes. If we fail to produce an acceptable finished piece, I will refund your money.
I have discovered the wonderful world of glass slumping and stretching. As I walk the ditches to pick up trash, I never know what I will find. We have quite an array of sizes, shapes, and colors. All kinds of bottles stretched into bud vases and flattened into serving trays for cheese balls and crackers. Some have also been used on the dresser to hold change, keys and wallet. Again I say, "The only limitation is your imagination". See more on the 'Trash to Treasure' page, or stop by the shop to look over the selection.
I create custom pieces upon request. If you have any questions, please call me at 770-567-3557 or email them to me through the link below. Please be sure to use the word CERAMICS in the subject line.
